chronotravel:inc®
is a device that lets you travel through time while sightseeing. Enter the time coordinates, press the orange button, and watch the world around you change and rewind.
I’ve developed a small branding for the time travel company, as well as the product design of the device itselft.
Two of my favourite subjects in one: time and speculative design.

While travelling through Provence, in the south of France, I found myself at Pont Julien, an ancient Roman bridge built in 3 BC. I spent a moment just watching it, wandering around, reading a plaque about its construction & I couldn’t stop thinking: what if you could sit there and watch time unfold around it? People passing, empires rising and falling, carts rolling across its stones. It was used for 2,000 years before closing in 2005.
This idea, mixed with my love of MacGuffins (film props), led to the design of chronotravel:inc®, the first time travel company and therefore the first time travel device.
